Whoops...

You just got Phished!

Good news, you have been Phished as part of a training exercise with an emphasis on learning and security awareness. Any credentials submitted as part of this exercise were not captured or stored.

Phishing is a social engineering tactic that is often used as part of a larger security attack. Phishing emails are becoming increasingly aggressive and difficult to separate from legitimate emails.

Since 91% of all cybersecurity incidents begin with an email, IPSD 204 is committed to providing training and learning opportunities for engaging with e-mail.

Phishing Prevention Recommendations

  • Be on the lookout for unsolicited emails looking for your personal information.
  • If an email looks suspicious, it probably is.
  • Verify the sender and validity of the message before responding.
  • Look for the caution header in your IPSD email account for messages that are not from IPSD 204 senders.
  • Do not click links or download attachments until you verify the sender and authenticity.
  • Do not ignore anti-virus or operating system warnings from your computer. Contact Technology Services at techsupport@ipsd.org or at 630-375-TECH.
  • Report phishing email to spam2@ipsd.org and delete the email.
